Do I Even Have a Drinking Problem?

If you found yourself asking “do I have a drinking problem” most likely you do. Perhaps you have been searching how to stop drinking on your own or your partner keeps nagging at you about your drinking. I know when I was drinking not a day went by that I didn’t think about quitting. Because you on are this page, I’m assuming that you think about it too.
Did you know that your chance of recovery through “traditional” methods is about one in four? Those odds are lousy. Maybe you have already been through detox or inpatient treatment. Or, maybe you are afraid to lose your best friend, the drink. Either way, I’m glad you are here and so is your family.
How Do You Stop Drinking?
Firstly, you need a solid recovery plan. Going it alone without a plan will surely lead to relapse. So, that is my first step with you, to create a Quit Action Plan or QAP. This plan is your foundation for quitting, you write it, I guide you.
Secondly, we uncover the root physiological cause of why you keep drinking and fix it. This is detailed on my nutrient page. But, since you are here I will introduce it now. You see alcohol has a way of messing with your whole system. From destroying your guts so nutrients aren’t absorbed to sapping your appetite to knocking your neurotransmitters out of whack. I will work with you to recalibrate your body to sustain sobriety. This is often called the 3rd leg of the recovery stool and the majority of inpatient rehabs don’t do anything about it. See I believe that there is more to recovery than just talking about it. Let’s do something about it now without white knuckling through it.
Thirdly, if you don’t already have a therapist and you are local, we connect you with the best therapist in the Valley, my wife, Dr. Teralyn. She will work with you to uncover the psychological root of the problem. If you are already working with a therapist that is awesome! You can keep your therapist and continue with recovery coaching and nutrient rejuvenation with me, no problem.
So, if you’ve been in over your head long enough and have put your body, your mind and your soul through hell because of drinking it’s time to make some changes and get off this crazy train. I know that quitting is filled with fear, I’ve been there! I know the journey! I also know there’s a lot at stake, and you’re worth it.
